High calibre and highly qualified, our founder is passionate about you getting what you want safely, and offers more than 25 years of experience in a variety of electrical environments from domestic to commercial, from hospitals to football clubs, from MOD sites, to nuclear power stations and many points in between.

Du Chatelet Ltd happens to be female founded and owned. We hope that does not matter to you.

Why Du Chatelet?

Emilie du Chatelet, who died in the 1740s, with her extraordinary story, was a brilliant physicist, mathematician, and philosopher. Her annotated translation of Newton’s Principia Mathematica - still in use today - stands as one of the most influential works of the Enlightenment. Known as the Genius of the Enlightenment, she also made original contributions to the study of light and energy.

From an early age, her talent and curiosity were recognised by her father, who ensured she was mentored by the great minds of the era. They were all men.

A mentee - by dint of drawing knowledge from many and sharpening it through personal curiosity - carries forward something greater than ever they could have created alone.

Du Chatelet is named in tribute to a woman who turned brilliant guidance into something greater, and in quiet thanks to the mentors of 25 years and counting, who have helped shape this company.

Thank you, Gentlemen.
